What is a Teleseminar?
I'm sure you are familiar with a class.
class – noun ~a group of students meeting regularly to study a subject under the guidance of a teacher: The class had arrived on time for the lecture.
Perhaps you've attended a seminar or two.
seminar – noun ~any meeting for exchanging information and holding discussions.
Telephone? I assume you know what a phone is.
telephone – noun ~an apparatus, system, or process for transmission of sound or speech to a distant point, esp. by an electric device.
So put that together and a teleseminar is a meeting by phone. Ingenious! Since most people have a phone in their home, teleseminars are more accessible to more people since there is no travel involved. Skip the airfare, hotels and restaurant eating... dial in from the comfort of your own home!
