Jill Seale – Artist – September 2009

Jill Seale had a busy graphic design studio in Washington D.C., designing for events, public relations, advertising, and corporate and political projects.  However, she yearned for something different . . .  “wanting Paris at her fingertips, flowers that bloom year round, bees that don’t sting” – so she began painting them.  You can now find the Jill Seale brand on dinnerware, greeting cards, stationery, calendars, ceramics, glassware, cocktail accoutrements, apparel, textiles, back-to-school and office products, baby and children’s products.  IN addition to her portfolio, she developed the highly successful collection, “Nun For The Road,” and discusses it, and the many and varied nuances of character licensing, in this interview.
